LOCAL OUTREACH
We organize several opportunities throughout the year to encourage involvement in local ministries, including these partner organizations:
Mean Street
Mean Street Ministry was born out of the vision of a few people who saw the unaddressed need to help the homeless, and ultimately to help these families get into their own apartments. Denver’s homeless population has grown and transformed as a result of the increasing cost of living. Mean Street has always reached out to the people on the streets with both food and the gospel message.
Clear Creek Rock House
Clear Creek Rock House is a dynamic Christian youth outreach in Clear Creek County that offers mentoring, tutoring, Bible study, and after-school activities for teens. A safe haven for kids! The Rock House provides guidance and support for teenagers while they learn and develop daily life skills and improve school grades. The Rock House also finds and provides social activities that are age-appropriate for teenagers. They include trips to fun places like Water World, Coors Field, movies, and more, while providing a safe and enriching environment for kids. The Rock House now also offers horse therapy! In addition to weekly youth Bible study and its normal activities such as boating, basketball, and kayaking, horse therapy has had a very positive influence on the Rock House kids! With the help of our staff, mentors, tutors, and volunteers, we are able to guide and nourish our local youth! We have opportunities for volunteering, tutoring, and mentoring. GLOBAL MISSIONS
Around the world, Rockland partners in mission work in Tanzania, The Netherlands and across the globe.
Tanzania
Through the years, we have formed relationships with in-country ministry organizations and churches that receive our financial support, as well as our mission team engagement.
Joseph & Lizzie Hoffman - The Netherlands
Joseph and Lizzie Hoffman moved to Maastricht in 2022 to help launch the first Globalscope campus in the Netherlands. They are passionate about engaging the city’s diverse culture and creating space for students from around the world to explore questions of faith. Partnering with local churches, they are building a Christ-centered community where students can find belonging, feel loved, and begin to experience Jesus’s transformational presence in their lives.
DOLLAR BILL MATCHING GIFT PROGRAM
Did you know that every $1 bill in the offering will be given to a designated ministry and matched by our Outreach Team? This is a simple way to support our outreach partners each week!
