Rockland Kids

Our Kids Ministry programs include kids from birth to 5th grade. We strive to create a place for children to grow in Christ and provide opportunities for kids and their parents to integrate into the entire community where they can worship, connect, serve, and give.

Sunday Morning Check-in

Sunday Morning Check-in

All kids (nursery-5th grade) are asked to check in at the kids’ check-in table in the south foyer. Whether you’re a first-time guest or a regular attendee, we look forward to welcoming your child.

If this is your first time to visit Rockland, we encourage you fill out our first-time guest form to set up your household and save time at check-in.

Nursery (Infants - 36 Months)

After check-in, infants and children up to 36 months of age are invited to head downstairs to the nursery.

For parents who choose to keep their infants with them, we encourage you to use the Cry Room located in the back of the Sanctuary if you are in need.
We have a room available for nursing moms. Ask any staff member for directions.

Age 3 to 5th Grade

Age 3 to 5th Grade

Kids age 3 and older attend the first portion of worship with parents (or the adult who brought them). After the kid’s blessing (approximately 10 minutes into the service), the kids walk together, as a group, led by kids ministry staff and teachers, to their designated classrooms.

We love connecting kids to God’s Word! In all of our classes, kids hear directly from God’s story, the Bible. They learn how it connects to their lives today so they can apply Biblical truths to everyday life. Lessons are designed with kids in mind; providing fun, age-appropriate activities that always point to Jesus.

Serve with us!

Serving in Rockland Kids is about much more than supervising a classroom. Every volunteer is helping create a place where children can know how they are loved by God. We believe He uses ordinary people, simple conversations, Bible stories, worship songs, and caring relationships to help children come to know Jesus and grow in faith.

Our heart is to partner with parents as we help the next generation understand who Christ is, what He has done for them, and how they can trust and follow Him. Whether you're greeting families, rocking a baby, leading a small group, or helping with check-in, your service can have an eternal impact.

If you're interested in serving, we'd love to help you find a role that fits your gifts and availability. Take the next step by filling out our serving interest form or talking with a member of the Rockland Kids team this Sunday.
